DEBUSSY, CLAUDE

Nelson Goerner is veel geroemd om zijn Chopin-vertolkingen, maar laat hier ook in een aantal van Debussy’s bekendste werken horen een begenadigd pianist te zijn. Op zijn techniek valt niets aan te merken, maar wat vooral bij Debussy erg belangrijk is, is dat hij ook erg mooie klankkleuren aan de piano kan onttrekken. Vooral de Iamges worden zeldzaam mooi vertolkt en zijn, net als de rest van dit recital, prachtig opgenomen door ZigZag. Aanrader.
