BERNINGER, MATT

Limited Translucent Cobalt Blue Vinyl edition

Matt Berninger's second solo album, "Get Sunk," marks a fresh chapter in his solo career. The album comes after a period of personal reflection and artistic rediscovery, influenced by his recent move from Los Angeles to Connecticut. This change in scenery has inspired a collection of songs that Berninger describes as explorations of the deeper parts of one's psyche, though not strictly autobiographical.

Matt Berninger is one of the most beloved indie rock/singer-songwriter artists of this millenium, known as the charismatic, enigmatic frontman of The National and especially celebrated for his characteristically obscure yet intimate and heartfelt lyrical imagery.
