YAMASHITA, TATSURO

Moonglow is the fourth studio album by the acclaimed Japanese city pop pioneer Tatsuro Yamashita, originally released on October 21, 1979, by Air Records. The "-LTD-" label denotes its highly collectible, critically acclaimed Limited Edition Remastered Vinyl LP (and matching cassette) reissued by Sony Music/Ariola on July 5, 2023, as part of a massive retrospective celebration of Yamashita's RCA/Air Records era.

The album serves as a definitive turning point in Yamashita's career, winning the 22nd Japan Record Awards for its immaculate production values. It masterfully bridges deep American disco, funk, and jazz-fusion arrangements with smooth Japanese pop melodies.
