Beautiful Journey: A Trip Through Time for Two" is the first attempt at Hollywood film music by Joe Hisaishi, the proud composer of Japan. Starring Margot Robbie, one of Hollywood's top actors who has appeared in numerous high-profile films including the "Suicide Squad" series and "The Wolf of Wall Street" and was nominated for an Academy Award for "Scandal. She is also attracting attention as her first film role in two years since "Barbie," which caused a social phenomenon around the world. Colin Farrell, who won the Best Actor Award at the Venice International Film Festival for "The Spirit of Inichelin Island" and the National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Actor for "After Ya," also stars in a double role. Directing these two top Hollywood stars in both name and reality is Korean-American director Kogonada, an up-and-coming filmmaker who won critical acclaim for his A24 production "After Yang," and is known as an avid fan of Studio Ghibli. With this in mind, he made a direct offer to Hisaishi, who is world-renowned for his Ghibli music, to compose the musical accompaniment for the film. This is the first time in his career that Hisaishi has composed music for a Hollywood film. The soundtrack will also attract a great deal of attention. (C)RS
