EARTH & FIRE

Released in 1973, Atlantis is the landmark prog-rock album by Dutch band Earth And Fire. Founded by twin brothers Chris and Geard Koerts, with bassist Hans Ziech, drummer Ton v.d. Kleij and female vocalist Jerney Kaagman. The A-side is the full suite “Atlantis” based on the story of the greedy and corrupt island of civilaziation, ultimately destroyed by the four elements. The B-side features the single “Maybe Tomorrow, Maybe Tonight” wich reached top ten positions in both the Netherlands and Belgium, with four additional tracks showcasing Earth And Fire’s melodic range and lyrical depth. Atlantis is reissued for the first time, available as limited edition on turquoise coloured vinyl, includes an insert with lyrics and is housed in a gatefold sleeve.
