Terrestrials, the eleventh studio album by the Australian psych-rock band Pond, is a lean, sharp, and intensely political pivot away from their signature sprawling space-rock. Released independently via their own label Mangovision, the record strips away the grandiosity of 2024’s double-album Stung! in favor of urgent, neon-drenched new wave and post-punk. The band imposed three strict creative rules in the studio: "No fuzz pedals. No ballads. No Pink Floyd shit."
