Keep The Pressure On: The Beverley’s Rock Steady Singles 1966–1967 is the third instalment in Music On Vinyl’s exclusive Trojan Records compilation series, celebrating the finest recordings from the legendary reggae label.

Compiled by the renowned Laurence Cane-Honeysett, who also provides the liner notes, this double album focuses on the Beverley’s Records catalogue and showcases some of the finest and most popular Jamaican recordings from the pivotal period when rocksteady became the island’s national sound.

The 28 tracks collected here provide ample evidence of the exceptional quality of Beverley’s output and demonstrate why, by the summer of 1967, Beverley’s Records was competing with the likes of Studio One and Treasure Isle as one of Kingston’s leading record companies.

Featuring classic recordings from artists including Desmond Dekker & The Aces, Derrick Morgan, Roland Alphonso and The Beverley’s All-Stars, this collection captures a defining era in Jamaican music.

Presented on 180-gram audiophile vinyl in a gatefold sleeve, Keep The Pressure On: The Beverley’s Rock Steady Singles 1966–1967 is available as a numbered limited edition of 1,500 copies on orange coloured vinyl.
