Third studio album by the American emo band. The album is a rock opera centering on a dying character with cancer known as 'The Patient'. The album tells the story of his apparent death, experiences in the afterlife, and subsequent reflections on his life. The album features the singles 'Welcome to the Black Parade', 'Famous Last Words', 'I Don't Love You' and 'Teenagers'. This 20th anniversary deluxe edition includes the original album plus six bonus tracks: three live performances from The Black Parade World Tour (2007), never before released on physical music formats, and three rare B-sides. The live performances include 'Someone Out There Loves You', long referred to by MCR fans as 'Stay', performed on the tour but never officially recorded.
