Recensie
Material by Casiopea (Vinyl) brings the celebrated 1999 studio album from legendary Japanese jazz fusion band Casiopea to vinyl for the very first time. Released as a collectible clear-color 2LP set, this special analog edition revives one of the group's late-era fusion masterpieces with high-quality mastering and premium presentation. The album was originally released during the band's 20th anniversary period and showcases the refined musicianship that has made Casiopea a cornerstone of Japanese fusion music.
Featuring performances by Issei Noro, Yoshihiro Naruse, and Minoru Mukaiya, the album also benefits from the full support of drummer Akira Jimbo throughout the recording. In addition, a vibrant horn section featuring Futoshi Kobayashi and Takahiro Kaneko adds extra energy and color to the band's trademark fusion sound. Popular tracks such as"FREAK JACK," "THE NIGHT IN BLUE," and"TWINKLE VISIONS" continue to be recognized by longtime fans and have remained part of the band's musical legacy.
