HAUSSWOLFF, ANNA VON

Een waterval is een oneindige vallende stroom water die altijd hetzelfde lijkt, maar nooit hetzelfde is. Iedere seconde klatert en klinkt anders. Anna von Hauswolff (pijporgel) maakt op All Thoughts Fly iets vergelijkbaars. Ze tovert een eindeloos perpetuum aan orgelgeluid uit het orgel van de Örgryte New Church in Gothenburg. Bijzonder is dat het orgel het geluid kan ‘buigen’, ‘pitchen’. Von Hauswolff: “…the pitching sounds and notes that you hear on the album come from the mechanics of this organ, effects made entirely acoustically."
