Theodore Shapiro returns to score Season 2 of Severance, extending the unsettling tonal world he established in Season 1. His new work introduces additional themes and sonic motifs while holding onto the stark tension and emotional unease that defined the series’ opening chapter. The season’s shift into new storylines and locations has provided fertile ground for expanded musical possibilities.

Mutant co-founder Spencer Hickman notes that creating the Season 2 package in collaboration with Ben Stiller, Fifth Season and Apple has been a highlight. He and artist Greg Ruth approached the project as devoted followers of the show, designing artwork that mirrors the blurred boundaries between the Innie and Outie worlds and reflects the psychological duality that drives the narrative.
