The debut vinyl pressing of Sheena’s unreleased 1986 recording sessions – only recently unearthed from the vaults as part of Cherry Red’s 5CD box set ‘Strut: The Complete EMI Recordings Vol II’. These dance-pop collaborations with superstar writer/ producers including Narada Michael Walden (Whitney/ Aretha), Nick Martinelli (Loose Ends/Diana Ross), Keith Diamond (Billy Ocean) and Jesse Johnson (Prince/The Time) were long considered by her loyal fans to be the holy grail of her “lost” recordings. Included are the shelved singles ‘Anything Can Happen’ and ‘Sweet Talker’ – both potential club smashes of the era – alongside her sparkling cover of disco classic ‘Young Hearts Run Free’.
