Andy Newcombe is altijd het centrale punt van The Brian Jonestown Massacre geweest, maar dit album mag gerust een solo album heten. Beïnvloedt door de Europese cinema is het een album vol sferische stukken, dromerig en met de nodige drama gebracht. Aanzwellende gitaren en de sporadische, vrouwelijke vocalen, uiteraard in het Frans en Italiaans, dwingen je je ogen dicht te doen om in volledig Cinemascope weg te zwelgen.
