Recensie
Het succes van de Amerikaanse sciencefiction-horrorserie Stranger Things (nu al de populairste Netflix serie ooit) is te verklaren door verschillende factoren. Het coming-of-age verhaal dat zich afspeelt in de jaren 80 bevat verwijzingen naar klassiekers als E.T. en The Goonies, er wordt goed geacteerd en ook de muziek is van zeer hoog niveau. Verantwoordelijk hiervoor zijn Kyle Dixon en Michael Stein, die we ook kennen van de experimentele synthband S U R V I V E. Echo’s John Carpenter, maar ook `90 ambient techno en met een sterke opbouw.
