Opgenomen op 12 augustus 2017, op hun laatste avond van hun 50-jarige jubileumtour, vormt What We Did On Our Saturday een mooie doorsnede van het werk van het instituut Fairport Convention. Heel veel oud-leden verleenden hun medewerking, waaronder bijna de gehele bezetting uit 1967 en uiteraard oudgedienden als Richard Thompson en Dave Mattacks. Aan de liveregistratie te horen, moet het een hele mooie avond geweest zijn.
