Met de soundtrack van de Coen Brothersfilm Oh Brother Where Art Thou wist samensteller T-Bone Burnett de interesse in bluegrass te doen herleven. Burnett was ook verantwoordelijk voor de produktie van de soundtrack van het op het leven van Dave van Ronk gebaseerde folkmuziek-epos Inside Llewyn Davis. Om de release van de film op te luisteren werd een concert gegeven, waarvan de opnames nu verschenen zijn op deze dubbelcd. Zowel oudgedienden als Joan Baez, Bobby Neuwirth en Elvis Costello als recentere artiesten als Keb’ Mo’ (met een prachtige Tommorow is a long Time), Jack White en The Punch Brothers brengen een mooie dwarsdoorsnede van de folkmuziek uit de gouden tijd in de clubs in Greenwich Village. Het speelplezier en passie spat uit de speakers. Hopelijk leidt de film, de soundtrack en dit concert ook in een hernieuwde interesse in de folk.
